Beschrijving testuitvoering:

De Release test wordt uitgevoerd met de patiënt in rug lig. Ondertussen dat de eindpositie van de Relocation test wordt vastgehouden, trekt de therapeut snel zijn hand van het proximale deel van de humerus weg, waarbij een reactie van de patiënt wordt opgewekt. De test is positief wanneer de patiënt dezelfde symptomen ervaart al bij de Apprehension test.
