Volgens de literatuur die d.m.v. beoordelingslijsten hoog scoren op methodologische kwaliteit blijkt dat de Neer test een matige sensitiviteit heeft om subacromiaal impingement uit te sluiten. Van de zes artikelen, waaronder één systematic review (Hegedus 2008) met meta-analyse, scoort één artikel (Michener et al 2009) en de review een sensitiviteit van boven de 0.7. Vier andere artikelen die hoog op methodologische kwaliteit scoren geven een matige sensitiviteit aan. De review is slechts gebaseerd op 2 artikelen (Park et al. 2005 en MacDonald et al. 2000) die gemiddeld scoren op methodologische kwaliteit. |
