Volgens de literatuur die d.m.v. beoordelingslijsten hoog scoren op methodologische kwaliteit blijkt dat de Neer test een matige specificiteit heeft om subacromiaal impingement aan te tonen. Van de zes artikelen, waaronder één systematic review met meta-analyse, scoren twee artikelen en de review een specificiteit tussen de 0.5 en de 0.7. De drie artikelen met een afwijkende score maken gebruik van een andere referentie standaard, namelijk ultrasonografie ten opzichte van een arthroscopie, of een onduidelijke uitvoeringswijze van de test. |
