In de literatuur zijn twee systematic reviews (Massy-Westropp, Grimmer, & Bain, 2005 en MacDermid & Wessel, 2004)gevonden die een voldoende scoren op methodologische kwaliteit. In de review van MacDermid (2004) scoort de Tinel’s sign op sensitiviteit 0.50. Het aantal onderzochte patiënten van alle gebruikte studies in de review samen is 2640. In het artikel wordt alleen niet aangegeven om welke samenstelling van patiëntenpopulatie het gaat. |
